May Favourites

Well June came out of nowhere didn't it?

Okay but seriously where did May go it was literally Christmas yesterday.

A month has passed so I was like what the heck let's do a favourites blog post because I liked some things and I love favourites because I love being nosey so why not?

TV

On twitter some people have been talking about this show called 'The Fosters' for a while and they were all like "EVERYONE WATCH IT IT'S THE BEST SHOW EVER" and OH MY GOD IT IS AMAZING!!! I watched the two seasons that are currently out over half term and holy crap it is definitely one of my favourite shows. The characters and the storylines and the shippings (jonnor amirite) are just amazing and even the characters that I absolutely can't stand I'm still just so intrigued by and I want to know what happens to them all but there's also characters I love to pieces and I just want the best things to happen to them and I want to know what happens next and series 2 ended on a cliffhanger and series 3 starts in a few days and I AM SO EXCITED!!! (wow that was a long sentence okay) It also has actors like Jake T. Austin and Maia Mitchell that I grew up watching so it was great seeing them in such a different setting and I honestly love this show so much - you should definitely watch it if you haven't already.

Another TV show I have been loving is I think my favourite TV show ever: Community. I really struggle explaining storylines of anything to people so I can't really give you an overview but I promise you it is amazing and hilarious and emotional and just everything you want from a TV show and more. I've been watching it for a while and series 6 ended just the other day (that episode broke me, I was an emotional wreck just randomly crying throughout the evening because I am just so attached so the characters and I have no idea what's going to happen next to the show or anything) and I loved series 6 so much. I know the first 5 seasons are on English Netflix and maybe others I'm not sure but you can check it out on there and series 6 is on Yahoo screen so I would DEFINITELY recommend giving it a go if you're looking for a TV show where you will get really attached to the characters, the ships, the storylines and you just feel like everyone you're watching on screen is your friend.

Books

In English we've been given this reading list and told to read some books off of it to 'broaden our vocabulary' and I saw Animal Farm by George Orwell was on this list. I've read 1984 which is also by him (amazing read definitely read it if you can) and thought what the heck, I loved that so I'll give that a go as well. It was absolutely amazing and one of my favourite books of all time. From the 2 Orwell books I've read I know I love him and I want to read other books of him because they are honestly just so interesting and amazing. I've heard some people say Animal Farm is boring but I thought it was really freaking great so I would definitely recommend reading it if you can because once you get into it you can read it quite quickly, I read it in around 4 hours without stopping because I was just so immersed. Also the ending was my favourite thing ever and I genuinely laughed out loud at it because it just reminded me of the world we live in so much which might not actually be a good thing but that's just my sense of humour.

Music

Last month I really got into Panic! at the Disco and listened to so much of their music, new and old. I really enjoyed Pretty. Odd. after I found it in a charity shop for £1 and my favourites were Nine In The Afternoon, When the Day Met the Night and Pas De Cheval. If you've never listened to Panic! at the Disco before I'd say definitely say listen to them or if you've listened to some then listen to more because I love them a lot.

Also I am extremely excited for Muse's new album Drones which actually comes out the same day as The Fosters (although I can't watch that until the next day) so I have a lot to look forward to!

Food

This might seem really random but there are these new things called Chocolate and Vanilla Milkshake slices which are (as far as I know) a new Mr Kipling thing and they honestly taste better than they sound which is saying something because they sound glorious.

Aaaaaaand that's really all the favourites I can think of for this month! I hope you enjoyed this blog post as I haven't really written anything like this before but it was fun to write because...idk really I just enjoy writing about things I like I guess!

P.S. Yes I know I say 'definitely' and 'amazing' a lot I'm sorry I can't stop.

Goodbye

:)
